Captain's log
Stardate 72047.6 (01/18/2395,  09:00 hours)

We have been on the frontier patrol seeral days now and all has been quiet.  That tends to make one nervous... like when is the other shoe going to drop?  Maybe never? Ha! Not aboard this ship.  The crew, however is still kind of riding off their prolonged vacation, so morale, according to Dr. Fenway is pretty high. Hopefully it will stay that way.

FOR THE SIM

The upgraded sensor net has picked up some energy readings about ten light years out of Federation space.  As these are readings we have not seen previously, we will be taking a quick peek to see what it is all about.

Personal log, Stardate 72043.03
Captain Rayne McCloud

It was a very relaxing time off.  I spent the entire time on Pasteur Station. :: lets out a laugh:: Who would have thought I would ever consider DS-21 a vacation spot?  But, the station is vastly different from when I was the executive officer. There is an entire set of space docks strictly for Starfleet ships and one for commercial ships.  The promenade and recreational levels have been more than quadrupled in size. The station is quite impressive.

Seeing Armand again was both a pleasure and a shock.  He has grown so much and is just about as tall as I am.  I did ask him if he wanted to return to the Eagle, but he explained how all his friends and school was on the station.  I am guessing it is more Luna Fyrstk.  Those two have become inseperable, and he is good friends with the admiral's twin sons. Tera said it was no problem if he continued staying with her so he could finish his schooling.  While I miss him, it is better for him to be in a stable situation. Plus, I will still keep in touch with him via sub-space.

The time spent with Tera was very nice as well.  If I had remained aboard Pasteur, I would have married her by now. In all our talks, though, it never seems marriage is where she wants to go. Maybe someday.

For now, it is gallivanting among the stars for me.

I can  hardly believe it's been over two months since the first birth aboard this ship.  Little Harrison is growing fast, too.  We have had a layover at Pasteur Station and the crew has had the past month off.  We will be departing DS-21 at 09:00 hours and heading back out to the frontier space for patrol.

FOR THE SIM

The crew should all have reported back aboard and the ship will be departing Pasteur at the start of the sim. From there we will take a slip-stream jump back to our patrol area.

"We're Having A Baby"
Officers present: Captain McCloud, Commander  Hart,  Lt. Commander Wren, Lt. Banning, Ensign Shadow

NPC: Commander Jorel

Stardate: Supplemental

The ship is a couple days out of docking at Pasteur Station.  They suddenly encounter an ion storm that simply popped from nowhere and forces the ship out of warp.  They are forced to "plow" their way through as the storm grew at an impossibly rapid rate.  Just as the ship goes to red alert, Lt. Commander Wren starts getting contraction pains. She is gotten to sick bay and the baby is delivered amid the ship's shaking.

Stardate 71837.5 (11/02/2394, 16:30 hours)

Starfleet has allowed us some leisure time as we head back to Federation space.  The Hoostave had met up with us and picked up Mr. Enhave' and they are now headed to another talks agreement in the Brazur system.  We have been studying different systems along the way back to Pasteur Station where we will take on supplies and do crew transfers.

FOR THE SIM

It is just after Alpha shift.  Crews will already have been relieved and Beta shift is at their duty stations.

Stardate 71763.41 (10/06/2394 15:30 houts)

We are departing after a agreement has been reached between the Narger and Longo species.  When it was revealed the Ambassador Trey was deploying a "negative wave" telepathically to constantly make the Narger delegations to be unreasonable about any arms agreement, the Longo expressed theor outrage and immediately sent a new representative.  Noth Mr. Enhave' and Administrator Batun felt the Long knew all along, but they did not state so publicly.  Once the new ambassador arrived, the agreement was reached rather quickly.  Batun is not hopeful this will lead to a whole new air of agreement between the two races that will bring a peace to the system.

SIM RECAP:
"Anger Monger"
Officers present: Captain McCloud, Commander Jorel, Commander  Hart,  (Dr.) Fenway, Ensign Shadow

NPC: Mr. Enhave, Ambassador Woon (Narger), Ambassador Trey (Longo)

Stardate: Supplemental

The two faction delegations are invited back to the Eagle, but are kept separate. First the Narger are shown that the Longo delegation is aboard, and Commander Jorel does not sense the "negative wave."  The Long are then shown that the Narger are aboard. Ambassador Trey seemed indifferent to the revelation, but the negative wave starts out strong, turning the Narger opinions to  negative and unresponsive.  A neural blocking field is erected and Ambassador Woon once again becomes amenable to the arms agreement proposal.

Supplemental (10/04/2394, 10:00 hours)

It has taken some hard convincing, but I had talked Ambassador Woon, of the Narger dlegation to come back aboard the Eagle. The Longo ambassador is also coming aboard, but we will keep them separate,  but allow them to see one another under a controlled situation. Hopefully, this will reveal just who is sabotaging the talks.

FOR THE SIM

We will once again be hosting the two delegations, but under a controlled situation.  We will allow one to see the other, without the other seeing them at that time, then we'll reverse who sees whom.  Hopefully the telepath will reveal himself.

Officers present: Captain McCloud, Commander  Hart,  (Dr.) Fenway, Lt. Banning, Ensign Shadow

NPC: Mr. Enhave, Administrator Batun'

Stardate: Supplemental

A meeting with Mr. Enhave' and administrator Batun was held to discuss the breakdown of the  second arms talk attempt.. It was revealed that a negative telepathic wave was being sent out.  A plan to find out who in the two delegations has the ability to do this was drawn up.
