Our sensor net has detected what we believe may be a new spatial life form.  It is, thus far, defined as a ball of energy the size of the planet Mercury, in the Sol system.  Dr. Shadow has sensed neural patterns from the anomaly, and some of it is distress and pain.  He also says he detects two distinct neural patterns, so this anomaly could be pregnant.  The problem is: we cannot get close enough to determine if it is injured and how we might be able to help.

FOR THE SIM

The anomaly floats in space ahead of us. THis far, the energy and radiation it emits is too much for even the Eagle's shield cannot protect us from exposure.  We will need to find another way to determine if this is, indeed, a life form and how to assist it.

While returning to Federation space, the ship's sensor net detects a very large spatial anomaly giving off high energy emissions. The Eagle is re-routed to investigate and find a mass of energy approximately the size of Mercury moving through space.  Dr. Shadow soon senses a neural pattern, and then feelings of distress and pain.  He speculates it may be a life form that is pregnant.

Repairs to the woeld sphere have been completed.  We have remained in orbit of the sphere to ensure there would be no further complications.  The inhabitants of the sphere ahve refused to allow any exploration from our teams, and have requested we depart and leave them be.  They were grateful for our help, but remain a xenophobic soceity, so we are leaving them be and heading back to Federation space.

FOR THE SIM

We will have left the sphere world and be heading back to Federation space.  This will be another chance for a test of our sensor net and exploration.

As the Eagle awaited a return call from the Easterners, Xon continued broadcasting his message over the airways, which apparently also reached the Northerner continent.  The Northerner president hailed the Eagle to see just what was happening.  McCloud informed him of the impending hull breach and implored the president to somehow force the Easterners to accept help before a disaster happened. After many more moments, a call was finally received from the Easterner president, who was extremely skeptical, but finally relented and accepted the offer of aid from the Federation starship.

The Eagle is the only thing preventing a devastating hull breach to this world-sphere.  We have made contact with one of the four governments inside the sphere and once things worsened, they cut us off.  I currently hve both the worker bee shuttles primed and ready to deploy into the sphere. Commander Hart has informed me there is enough room between the earth the inhabitants reside on and the hull itselr to maneuver the bees and weld the hull back together.  The Easterner government has dispatched their own machinery "underground," so we wil see if they can handle the job.

FOR THE SIM

Time is running out.  While the Eagle is holding the hull together, it cannot remain doing so indefinitely.  If the government canno tmake the repairs themselves, we may have to intervene, however, the Prime Directive prohibits us from doing that without the government requesting our assistance.

Communications continue between Captain McCloud and the representative from the Easterner government. The ruptures in the world-sphere deepen and the Eagle puts a reverse tractor field in place to keep the hull from breaching. Commander Hart and Dr. Shadow do some more research and determine a possible course of action.  Captain McCloud informs his away team they will need permission from the sphere's government before the Eagle can take any action.

We have finally made contact with the Easterner government inside the World-sphere.  While our hail was initially met with obstinance and defiance, I believe we finally convinced the government official that we wish to help and that time is of the essence, that the hull of their sphere is ready to rupture and cause a clamitous breach.  Now, we will have to see if we can stop that breach.

FOR THE SIM

Communications will continue with the Easterner government. Hopefully we will win them over and be able to assist.  The away team will need to be working from the inside to see just what we need to do to save the hull of the sphere.

Contact with Xon proves successful in contacting the government of the Easterners' government.  Xon  provides a special frequency which is relayed to the Eagle. Captain McCloud makes contact with the government and is met with obstinance from the receiver of his hail.  Also, the hull of the life-sphere suffers yet another rupture and threatens to breach even sooner than expected.

While awaiting word from the away team inside thw world-sphere, we detected the formation of yet another crak in the sphere's outer hull.  Ensign Horatu estimates the rupture could open a hole in the hull that would allow three Luna-class ships to pass through, side by side with a little space in between.  This will undoubtedly destabilize the atmosphere inside and cause considerable damage to settlements on that area and heavy loss of life.  We have been reviewing the option of possibly putting a forcefield in place to maintain the sphere's integrity until repairs can be made.

FOR THE SIM

Now that contact with Xon has been made, hopefully the away team can find a way to contact tone of the governments.  Time is of the essence.

Stardate: Supplemental

While attempting to find a frequency to contact any one of the four governments inside the world-sphere, Commander Jorel comes across a broadcast that is not on their usual broadcast frequencies. It, in fact, has a broadcaster that espouses threories against the governments.  Once they find the location of the transmitter, Commander Jorel and Lt. Banning beam directly to the person's "shsck."  They find out that the inhabitants all know they are inside a space sphere, and Xon suspects there is something the matter with the sphere, which they confirm.  As another shock wave hits, they learn a new crack is forming and realize they have less time than they thought.
