Captain's log
Supplemental (06/02/2395,  13:00 hours)

We are on approach of a commercial space station run by an "entrepreneur from a planet calld Eldrexia.  It is a station half the size of the old DS-9 and has limited repair facilities, but if the Breen dreadnought was damaged enough, her captain could be of the "any port in the storm" mind. If they are here, I hope they do not take our approach as aggressive, because I don't think we could very easily stand up to even a damged dreadnought.

FOR THE SIM

We will be arriving at the space station, at the start of the sim. Preliminary scans do show a ship docked to the station that is large enough to be the dreadnought, so we will have to approach the station with utmost caution. All hands should be ready for anything.

Stardate: Supplemental

The Eagle is asked by Command to take a slip-stream jump to an area in the Beta Quadrant outside of Federaton space. One of the other starships had a run-in with a Breen dreadmought which was now M.I.A. The captain's log had reported the Breen ship had taken heavy damage but they had been alive and were able to restore enough power to get away from the other ship. While the other ship had to handle another mission, Starfleet still wanted to know where the missing dreadnought was.

Stardate 72417.6 (06/02/2395,  10:15 hours)

There has been very little activity in this particular sector, lately. Once again a couple minor science discoveries, but nothing noteworthy. The high spirits that were felt around the ship when we saved that spatial creature are wearing off.  Dr. Fenway assures me there is nothing to worry about yet. I do dislike that word, "yet." He also relayed an idea that Dr. Shadow had brought up, which entailed a good old fashioned "barbeque." I'm not certain just what that is, but if it helps to bring spirits back up, I'm for it.

FOR THE SIM

Starfleet command has just contacted us and ordered us to take a slip-stream jump to another remote sector of space just outside of Federation space. Apparently there had been some Breen activity in that area and the Breen ship involved seems to have gone missing. We are instructed to locate the ship, only, and report back. Command reports that this is one of the Breen's dreadnought and could easily overpower the Eagle.

While patrolling the Federation frontier, the Eagle made a rednezcous with a shuttle from Pasteur Station, bringing some new officer transfers aboard.  Commander Hart and Dr(s). Fenway and Shadow were there to greet the new arrivals and were surprised as Armand McCloud stepped off the transport.  The lanky teenager was off on sscholl cacation and wanted to return to the ship until school started again.

Stardate 72401.14 (05/27/2395,  10:00 hours)

Wd have just completed the escort of the Bordellian freighter through the harsher area of this sector of space.  It was quite rough on both ships, but we made it through with some minor scrapes and bruises. Dr. Fenway has assured me most of the injuries were just that, minor scrapes and bruises.  Commander Hart has remporarily left the bridge and is assisting Lt. Hardvarkis who has been the acting ChENG while Tom handles the acting XO's position. We are also expecting the arrival of a large passenger/cargo shuttle from Pasteur, carrying some new officers and supplies.

FOR THE SIM

We will rendezvous with the shuttle, and off-load the passengers and supplies. A couple NPC officers will be going on leave, so they will be boarding the shuttle for the trip back to Pasteur.

This will probably go down as one of the most amazing/unusual things I have ever seen. Dr. Fenway, along with the aid of Commander Hart and Dr. Shadow, just finished performing surgery on a planet-sized spatial life form, which suddenly turned out to be two life forms.  Our CMO believes it was not a pregnant life form, as originally conjectured, but two life forms, maybe mates, that had came together to support the one that had been injured. Once the surgery had been completed, I ordered the ship a safe distance away from the original configuration of this spatial beauty, and after seceral moments, it split into two equal sized of half the size. The creatures then turned toward the ship and nudged our shields but made no overt offensive moves against us. Both Dr. Fenway and Dr. Shadow agreed they were showing their gratitude before they moved on at about warp 8. Commendations will be put in Dr. Fenway, Commander Hart and Dr. Shadow's files.

FOR THE SIM

It has been two weeks since the encounter with the spatial creature)s). We are back on patrol in the frontier of Federation Space. It has been pretty quiet since the "surgery" and that usually does bode well... when it gets too quiet.

"Unique Patient" part 2
Officers present: Captain McCloud, Commander  Hart,  Dr. Fenway, Lt. Banning

NPC:

Stardate: Supplemental

With Dr. Fenway manning the ship's phasers, and Commander Hart manning the tractor beam, delicate surgery was performed on a planet-sized spatial life form.  The ship had to achieve a normal orbit distance above the entity which was giving off so much energy and radiation, almost all power was shunted to the shields to keep them up. Also, as the surgery commenced, the creature would move in protest to try and get away from the pain.

Supplemental: (01/21/2395,  14:00 hours)

We are about to perform... well, Dr. Fenway is about to perform some spatial surgery.  We have determined the energy anomaly is a life form that has been severly wounded by someone's disruptor blast, or blasts.  Dr. Fenway is going to attempt to seal the wound shut by a precision... "Foreceps" move with our tractor beam and the phasers.  We will have to work fast as the energy given off by the creature is massive and will eat through our shields.

FOR THE SIM

Commander Hart will man the tractor beam "forceps" and Dr. Fenway will surgically apply the phasers to try and close the creature's wound.  Dr. Shadow will try as best he can to soothe the  creature and assure it we are only trying to help.

"Unique Patient"
Officers present: Captain McCloud, Commander  Hart,  Dr. Fenway, Lt. Banning, Dr. (Ens) Shadow

NPC:

The ship continues to follow and study the mysterious energy anomaly.  It is finally determined the entire anomaly is at least one life form, possibly a pregnant one.  Dr. Shadow continues to "talk" with the creature, but receives nothing from his efforts.  Captain McCloud decides the Eagle will attempt to close what appears to be a large wound inflicted by dsomeone's disruptors.  Dr. Fenway is called to the bridge to perform surgery with the ship's phasers.
